We highly recommend you read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking a site/accommodation you agree to abide by Hidden Valley Resort’s Terms and Conditions and Site Rules.
Following your booking and deposit/payment you will receive a receipt by email confirming your payment. Bookings for 1-3 nights: payment due in full at time of booking. Bookings for 4 nights or more: 50% deposit required or payment due in full. If you pay the minimum deposit, then the balance is due on arrival before you access your camping/touring site.
Cancellations are only refundable (less the 5% booking fee) or transferrable with a minimum of 7 days notice. Please consider holiday insurance to avoid disappointment. Refunds cannot be made for any amendments made to the booking on arrival or during your stay. The booking fee covers the costs associated with the booking system and also for the installation and maintenance of computer software. The booking fee is 5% of the Booking Total on the Invoice. Should you need to cancel, or the Resort needs to cancel as outlined below in “Changes to your holiday by us”, the 5% booking fee is non refundable.

A deposit payment of 50% of the total cost of your break is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid on arrival by credit card, debit card or cash.
Cancellations are only refundable (less the 5% booking fee) or transferrable with a minimum of 4 weeks notice. We strongly advise that clients take out travel insurance to cover any costs associated with having to cancel a holiday. It is very important that you are adequately insured. Refunds cannot be made for any amendments made to the booking on arrival or during your stay. In order to cancel your break, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The booking fee covers the costs associated with the booking system and also for the installation and maintenance of computer software. The booking fee is 5% of the Booking Total on the Invoice. Should you need to cancel, or the Resort needs to cancel as outlined below in “Changes to your holiday by us”, the 5% booking fee is non refundable.
Please note that a credit card is required on arrival for a €100 pre-authorisation security deposit. A debit card can also be used, however most banks take 1-3 weeks to release this pre-authorisation back to you.

Conditions of Booking
We pride ourselves on being a family orientated park; we only accept bookings from families or couples. We do not cater for large groups, hens/stags or anyone looking to stay up all night. We have a strict noise curfew on our site from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. We reserve the right to decline or terminate the booking of any guest(s) whose party make-up or behaviour interferes or may interfere with the general comfort of other guests. In this event no refunds will be made. Hidden Valley Resort and its facilities are intended for family holidays.
Touring & Camping Pitch Allocation
Sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot guarantee that units booked in together will be beside each other on site. We do not accept twin axle caravans. Working/commercial vans are not allowed on site.
Payment on arrival to the park can only be made by cash, debit card or credit card. No caravan/motorhome/tent will be allocated a site until the full balance has been paid. Families will not have access to rental accommodation until the full balance has been paid. Please do not ask staff to allow access to site without full balance payment as refusal may offend. All prices are quoted in Euro.
Touring & Camping:
If no notification is given, and the pitch is not occupied by 10 a.m. the day after the booked arrival date, then the Resort reserves the right to re-let the pitch with payment non-refundable and the booking non-transferrable.
If no notification is given, and the customer has not made contact by 9 p.m. on the arrival date, then the Resort reserves the right to take full payment for the remaining balance. The deposit/payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
On arrival all customers/visitors are to report to reception. Your arrival is welcome from 12 p.m. for camping/touring bookings and from 4 p.m. for accommodation hire. Access to the resort sites/lodges will not be permitted until payment is received in full. All visitors must arrive before 9 p.m. unless alternative arrangements have been made with reception.
Checkout time on the day of departure is by 12 p.m. for touring & camping and by 11 a.m. for accommodation hire. No refunds will be given for departing nights early. Please do not ask as refusal may offend.
Guests must supply their own sleeping equipment such as duvets, pillows, sleeping bags, linen, towels, tea towels, etc. Please review your accommodation from the Resort’s website to ensure the correct bed layout for each accommodation type.
Bunk Beds: No kids under the age of 6 are allowed on the top bunk. Parental supervision is required at all times.
Barbecues: The Barbecue Stand at the accommodations are strictly for disposable barbecues only. No other fires are permitted.
Smoking is NOT allowed inside the accommodations, on the accommodation decking or near window/door openings. We do not allow pets inside any of our accommodations or the surrounding areas of the accommodations. If you have hired accommodation, then you are not allowed to bring a pet to the Resort.
You must use your accommodation and its contents with care and leave it in a clean and tidy condition on departure. We reserve the right to charge you for any extra cleaning, missing items or damage. We reserve the right to enter your accommodation at any time for any reasonable purpose, for example, to make checks, maintenance work or housekeeping. Your occupation is not exclusive.
The members of your party and the allocation of guests in each accommodation unit must remain the same for the whole of your stay.
The maximum number of guests in each accommodation unit (as stated on our website) must not be exceeded. If it is, we may move those additional persons to another accommodation unit and will charge you or them the appropriate full charge for the additional accommodation, from the date your party arrived for the break.
Requests for specific accommodation units must be made at time of reservation and whilst we will endeavor to meet all special requests, they cannot be guaranteed. If confirmation of your reservation depends on a particular house being available, we regret we cannot accept the booking.
2023 Season: Dogs are welcome to come caravan and camping as long as they are kept on a lead at all times, cleaned up after and supervised by an adult at all times.
2024 Season: Dogs are not permitted on site during the months of July and August. Outside the months of July and August, dogs are welcome to come caravan and camping as long as they are kept on a lead at all times, cleaned up after and supervised by an adult at all times.
Additional Rules: The following dogs are NOT ALLOWED on site at any time for safety reasons:
- American pit bull terrier
- English bull terrier
- Staffordshire bull terrier
- Bull mastiff
- Dobermann pinscher
- German shepherd (Alsatian)
- Rhodesian ridgeback
- Japanese akita
- Japanese tosa
By bringing your dog to Hidden Valley Resort you are accepting full responsibility for its conduct and behaviour. Any dog that is deemed to be unsuitable or a nuisance will result in the owner being asked to remove it from the site immediately. Dogs are not allowed in the amenity block or any rental accommodations.
Please note there is a €150 fine for dog fouling on the Resort. Anyone found not to be “cleaning up” after his or her dog will be fined and asked to leave immediately with no refund given.
Under the Control of Dogs Act 1986, all dog owners by law must have a dog licence, and all dogs must be under the control of their owner or another person capable of controlling them. Certain breeds must be muzzled when in a public place. Please know your responsibilities.
If you wish to extend your stay, then please check with reception as soon as possible or check online. Extensions can be arranged subject to availability and potential relocation, however there is no guarantee that pitches/accommodation can be extended beyond the dates originally booked.
All Bank Holidays have a minimum 3-night stay. Weekends in June have a 2-night minimum stay.
Maximum stay is 7 nights for both caravan/camping and lodging.
Open fires/campfires/fire pits are strictly prohibited. BBQ’s (charcoal only) are allowed as long as they are kept up off the grass, supervised by an adult at all times and disposed of properly. No burning of timber is allowed on site.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardians at all times. It is particularly important that you always know where your children are and that you provide adequate supervision for them at all times. Ball games are only allowed on the football pitch inside the kid’s fun park. The kid’s fun park (playground area) is unsupervised and it is the parents/guardians responsibility to ensure that their children are correctly behaved and don’t harm themselves or others while using the equipment. We do not accept liability for any injury suffered due to the misuse of equipment on site. Customers must wear shoes at all times while on site (no bare feet allowed).
Care of those unable to look after themselves
You should ensure that all members of your party who are unable to look after themselves are at all times fully supervised by a capable adult member of your party and if appropriate, medication is brought with you for their needs and can be properly administered. Each such person should be able to communicate their name and accommodation type and number, or must carry some means of identification at all times. Please note that we have qualified first aiders but do not have resident nurses or doctors.
Rules and Regulations
All customers/visitors must check-in at reception on arrival
Site permits must be displayed facing out from the mirror inside the car.
No commercial or transit vehicles are permitted on site. No working vans permitted on site.
Twin axle caravans are not permitted on site.
We DO NOT permit electric scooters/bikes/hoverboards/motorised equipment etc on site. Please DO NOT bring these items to the resort.
Checkout time on day of departure is by 12 p.m. for touring/camping and by 11 a.m. for accommodation rentals.
All children must be supervised at all times by their parents/guardians.
Strict Noise Curfew on site from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times and supervised by an adult at all times when permitted on site.
No camp fires. No burning of timber. Charcoal BBQ’s only.
Radios/televisions/instruments must be used in such a way as to avoid disturbing others.
Access codes to the park are only for those who are staying on the park.
All caravans/motorhomes/campervans must be insured while on the park.
All visitors to the park must check-in at reception, pay the appropriate fees and visit during visiting hours (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.). Visitors who have checked-in for the incorrect number of people will be asked to leave the park immediately with No Refund.
The Resort is for short term holiday use only. “Working” from the resort is not permitted.
Anyone causing disturbances on the site will be evicted from the resort with no refund given
Do not enter or attempt to use any facility that is closed.
Fireworks, Chinese lanterns and water balloons are strictly prohibited at all times.
All disposable BBQ’s must be cooled and disposed of responsibly.
Gas cylinders must be properly recycled and not placed in the general rubbish bins.
Care of Your Possessions
It is your responsibility to look after and care for your possessions, valuables (i.e. watches, jewelry, photographic equipment, credit cards, etc.) and money whilst on holiday with us. You should not leave these items unattended in your accommodation or anywhere else around the Resort. To reduce the possibility of upset caused by loss or damage, we suggest you do not bring valuable possessions on holiday unless absolutely necessary. We recommend that you be comprehensively insured. In case of any loss, please contact reception in the first instance. Return of any lost property will incur a charge for postage and packing. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to your possessions.
Changes To Your Holiday by Us
Hidden Valley Holidays Ltd. cannot accept responsibility or compensation for circumstances beyond our control including (but not limited to) natural disasters, industrial disputes, fire, technical problems, bad weather, acts of government, etc. Hidden Valley Holidays Ltd. will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that it is open for use by visitors during normal opening hours. However, Hidden Valley Holidays Ltd. reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close the park or any part of it, and/or to update the resort’s Terms and Conditions and/or policies with immediate effect. In the event of such closure, Hidden Valley Holidays Ltd. will refund any customer the cost of his/her payments for camping/accommodation less any booking fees attached to the booking.
Availability and Use of Facilities
We will do our best to ensure that all facilities listed will be available during your stay (while also noting opening and closing of certain facilities/activities on our website). However, we cannot guarantee that they will be available as, for example, maintenance and other work may be necessary from time to time or some may be located outdoors and as such, are seasonal and subject to appropriate weather conditions prevailing at the time. Most facilities are available on a “first come, first serve” basis, however some can be pre-booked. It’s your responsibility to make any arrangements necessary and to ensure that any facilities used or activities selected are appropriate to you and/or all members of your party.
No shotgun, knife, firearm, air weapon, archery equipment, fireworks (including sparklers), Chinese lanterns, illegal substances or similar item may be brought onto our Resort under any circumstances by you or anyone in your party.
Compensation Payable By You
By booking you agree that we have the right either during or after your stay to recover from you, whether via the credit/charge or debit card used to pay for the break or otherwise, the costs of:
Any property or accommodation damage, and/or
Any compensation we may pay to others, and/or
Any other costs, fees or levies which we may incur, resulting from your action or inaction and from any breach of this agreement.
Behaviour and Compliance with this Agreement
You are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your party.
Behaviour should be in keeping with the family environment and should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive, especially at night. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in the police being involved. Offensive or aggressive behaviour or language towards our staff is not acceptable. We may ask you and/or any member of your party to leave immediately if your conduct results in police attendance or is considered by us to be inappropriate; likely to cause harm; or impair the enjoyment, comfort or safety of anyone; or is likely, in our belief, to breach any of this agreement. No refunds or compensation will be given in these circumstances and we reserve the right not to accept any future bookings from you or any member of your party.
All vehicle’s/caravan’s etc. are parked at owner’s risk. The management accept no liability for loss or damage while on the resort or otherwise.
Anyone found vandalizing or causing damage to any building, equipment or property of the park faces immediate eviction and/or prosecution. The person who booked will be responsible for all charges for all damage/breakages/loss caused by themselves or their visitors to the site or resort facilities or other customers’ property.
Hidden Valley Holidays Ltd. reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry on to or remove from its premises or the vicinity any person who:
Has been convicted of a criminal offence
Has behaved in a manner or is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of other visitors
Has used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes of behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of peace
Is though to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances
Is staying on the Park for any other use apart from holiday use
The fire assembly point for the caravan park is the area to the side of the reception building. In the event of an emergency dial 999 for the emergency services and notify the park manager immediately.
The information supplied on the booking form will be stored on computer for administrative purposes only. Under no circumstance will this information be provided to a third party.
This agreement and any dispute between us will be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland over any matter arising out of our agreement or your visit. We must both act reasonably in selecting or agreeing any jurisdiction including any forum for dispute resolution.
Your stay will not give rise to any tenancy agreement between us.
Should any part of our agreement be deemed by law to be void, the remainder of this agreement will, if capable, continue in full force and effect. The headings in this agreement are included for convenience only and shall not affect its interpretation or construction.
In all cases, except personal injury or death, our liability to you for the total of all claims arising out of your break with us is limited to the cost of your booking less cancellation, amendment or separate charges. We will not be responsible for any matters that result from any unforeseeable events that are beyond our control.
