Booking & Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to secure all school tour and group bookings. A provisional booking is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

Final Numbers

Final participant numbers must be confirmed no later than 7 days before arrival.

Reductions made within 7 days of the visit, including non-attendance on the day, will not reduce the final amount payable.

Additional participants within this period are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Group Pricing

Group rates and discounts are based on the number of participants quoted at the time of booking.

Where final numbers are lower than the number on which the original quotation was based, the per-person rate may be adjusted accordingly.

Where applicable, a minimum number of paying participants may be specified as part of the quotation.

Payment

Payment can be made by debit/credit card or bank transfer/EFT. Cheques are not accepted.

Where paying by bank transfer, the full outstanding balance must be paid and received before arrival. Please allow sufficient time for funds to clear.

ETB / Central Accounts Payments

Schools or organisations requiring payment to be processed through an ETB, central accounts department, creditor system or Purchase Order must advise us in advance of the visit.

Any required Purchase Order, supplier registration or accounts information must be arranged in sufficient time to allow the invoice to be processed.

Unless alternative payment terms have been agreed with Hidden Valley Resort in advance, payment remains due before arrival.

Outstanding balances from previous visits may need to be settled before any future booking can be confirmed.

Activities & Timings

Activities and staffing are scheduled according to the confirmed package and group size. Changes close to the visit are subject to availability.

Groups must arrive at the time provided in their itinerary. Late arrival may result in activities being shortened or adjusted and additional time cannot be guaranteed.

Waivers

All required activity waivers are completed electronically and should be completed before arrival.

Outstanding waivers may delay the group’s scheduled activities.

Supervision

Schools and group organisers are responsible for the appropriate supervision and behaviour of children and young people throughout their visit, including between activities and during breaks.

Adults participating in activities must be included in participant numbers and may be charged at the applicable rate.

Acceptance

Confirmation of a booking and/or payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these School Tour & Group Booking Terms and Conditions.

Our Aqua Park is our most popular tour option and is available from May 2nd onwards – An inflatable structure with over 30 obstacles to conquer. Participants are provided with all equipment – shorty wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet and given a comprehensive safety briefing by our instructors prior to their session. Our instructors are on hand out on the water with participants to ensure their safety and fun. Suitable for teachers too!

Requirements:

• Suitable for 6th class and secondary schools
• Able to swim 50 metres with a buoyancy aid
• Reasonably fit, you will be running, sliding, climbing and jumping on obstacles that are slippery and form an unstable platform
• Confident in the water – you must swim out to the structure & you are likely to fall in and go under water

Combat Laser Tag involves two teams battling it out in various game modes equipped with laser guns and head sensors. Our guns are extremely accurate and equipped with red dot scopes. Game modes played include Team Deathmatch, Attack the Base, Capture the Flag, VIP

Our Boating Lake provides a safe, waist deep environment to experience kayaking. We provide sit-on-top kayaks, buoyancy aids and paddles. We have both single and double sit-on-top kayaks.

Downhill tubing is a new addition to the resort! Experience all the fun of snow sledging on our artificial slope.

Our 9 hole Adventure Mini Golf is a classic favourite and offers something for those less adventurous as well.
