Ballygannon Wood is located beside Hidden Valley Resort. This scenic area is full of trails and wildlife. The Samuel Hayes suspension bridge crosses the Avonmore River connecting Ballygannon Wood with Clara Vale nature reserve. If walking to Ballygannon Wood from Hidden Valley guests will need to walk on a plank path and climb a set of stairs at the start (not buggy/wheelchair friendly), however after this there is a gravel trail. The trail can also be cycled after the planks/steps.
